Analogue camera CCTV monitoring type AT-Video

The intrinsically safe video surveillance system AT-Video allows to capture images from areas where people presence should be limited or is even forbidden. Installation of the vision system at selected points of longwall or within the conveyors route for easy supervision over the process of extraction, to improve its safety. A characteristic feature of the system is the usage of video servers enabling the concentration of video signals from multiple cameras simultaneously, compression and transfer of digital video through fiber optic Ethernet network to surface or to underground video monitoring stations within the coaxial cable. The basic element of the vision system is an intrinsically safe analogue camera. Intrinsically safe analogue camera has automatically adjustable lenses which setting depends on light intensity. At very low intensity light sensor automatically switches to black and white mode. The camera can transmit images via fiber optic network or coaxial cable. Depending on the type of installation, signal can be transmitted to flameproof preview LCD units or surface recording and data processing stations.

Application

Analogue intrinsically safe cameras can be used in the mine wide fiber optic networks as well as being locally connected to preview units by coaxial cable.
When being used in mine wide networks cameras are connected to it by a separated fiber optic core. Typically number of such a cameras is than connected to local underground video server unit in order to limit the number of fiber cores used. This device transmits the view over the Ethernet mine wide network to connected workstations (located on the surface or underground).
