Digital camera CCTV monitoring type AT-Video/Digi
The digital intrinsically safe video surveillance system AT-Video allows to capture images from areas where people presense should be limited or is even forbidden. Installation of the vision system at selected points of longwall or within the conveyors route for easy supervision over the process of extraction, to improve its safety. A characteristic feature of the system is the usage of video servers enabling the concentration of video signals from multiple cameras simultaneously, compression and transfer of digital video through fiber optic Ethernet network or WIFI to surface or underground video monitoring stations. This reduces the number of used network infrastructure resources. The basic element of the vision system is an intrinsically safe digital camera which can be made as ATEX group I or II device. Intrinsically safe camera has automatically adjustable lenses which setting depends on light intensity. At very low intensity light sensor automatically switches to black and white mode. The camera can transmit images via fiber optic, Ethernet or WIFI network. Depending on the type of installation, signal can be transmitted to flameproof preview LCD units or surface recording and data processing stations.
Application
Beginning from the surface a mine pit network (computers on which the camera view wants to be seen) is present with the work stations connected.
From this point - local switch - connection with main network switch unit is established. In most cases this device has dedicated vlans for different networks (places) or device groups (cameras, automation systems, underground computers etc.).
This network switch is connected with video server which displays the view on the computers.
From VLAN switch (general mine network unit) network is establilshed, usually with fibers,from surface to underground. Network line is than divided into sections by junction boxes.
The camera interconnections can be made as point to point connection or cascade (as shown on drawing).
ATUT provides all the necessary devices for any network topology to be established.
